1. General Terms

2. Service Minimums & Estimate Policy

 * Minimum Service Fee: A $50 minimum charge applies to all service requests and minor repair jobs.

 * Estimate Fees: Estimates and project evaluations are free of charge only when our services are procured for the job.

 * Declined Estimates: If an on-site estimate or detailed project evaluation is performed and you choose not to proceed with or procure our services, a $50 estimate/assessment fee is due immediately.

3. Payment Terms & Upfront Deposits

 * Material Deposit: Prior to starting any work, 100% of the cost allocated for project materials must be paid upfront by the customer.

 * Final Balance: The remaining balance for labor and any additional agreed-upon charges is due in full at the time of project completion.

 * Accepted Forms of Payment: Cash, Card, Bank Transfer, Check, etc.

4. Scope of Work & Licensing Compliance

Brooks' Odds for Ends provides general handyman, maintenance, and minor repair services in accordance with state and local regulations. For projects requiring specialized trades (such as major plumbing, electrical, or structural additions outside the general handyman scope), we reserve the right to decline the project or refer you to an appropriately licensed trade contractor.

5. Pre-Existing Conditions & Client Responsibilities

 * Pre-Existing Issues: Brooks' Odds for Ends is not liable for discovering or repairing pre-existing structural defects, hidden water damage, mold, or code violations not caused by our direct work.

 * Property Access: The client must ensure the work area is clear, safe, and accessible prior to our arrival.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brooks' Odds for Ends LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or services requested through it. Our total liability for any claim related to service work shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that specific project.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including business logos, text, media, layout, and photos of completed work—is the property of Brooks' Odds for Ends and may not be reproduced or used without prior written permission.
